Tickets
Skip the line and buy admission to the ZOO online. The admission ticket is valid for a full year from the date of purchase. No later than the day after your visit, you can have the ticket price deducted when purchasing a Zoo Card. All proceeds go directly to supporting the ZOO's operations, nature conservation and outreach.
If you have purchased a regular admission ticket, you can have the price of the admission ticket deducted when purchasing a Zoo Card no later than the day after your visit. One adult admission ticket is deducted from the price of one adult or pensioner Zoo Card and one child admission ticket is deducted from the price of one child Zoo Card. You can upgrade your admission ticket to a Zookort in the following ways:
QR code
Scan the QR code from your admission ticket and follow the instructions.
App
Download the “ZOO København” app from the App Store/Play Store > Create an account > Verify your email > Log in to the app. Under the “Purchase” tab, tap “Upgrade now” and enter your upgrade code from the ticket, which consists of eight numbers and letters (e.g., VU8SDZVF), and follow the instructions. After payment, the Zoo Card will automatically be available in the app.

Go to shop.zoo.dk > My Account > Create account > Verify email > Log in to “My Account.” Under the “Upgrade to Zoo Card” tab, enter your upgrade code from the ticket and follow the instructions.
